Links opened in a new tab retain their session history. This clones the backward history of the "parent" tab to all tabs it opens. One of the best things about tabbed browsing is the ability to load a bunch of pages in the background without interrupting your reading, but in Firefox this breaks navigation since you have to keep the original tab open to use your session. This extension fixes that by propagating the session across tabs.
